Wednesday 6:15 pm Track workout at HHS Track with Tom and Elizabeth
Thursday 5:45 am Run from La Verkin Stake Center with Tom and Ty
Thursday noon Swim at Hurricane City pool with Elizabeth
Saturday 7 am Run from Classic Sports with Everyone
I can swim laps pretty much any day at noon and I'd rather swim with someone so if other days work better for you, let me know. Tom and I also want to get in an open water swim, maybe friday afternoon or saturday.
And I am always up for a ride. I was thinking of maybe going Wednesday at 6:45 am.

Track Workout Canceled
I am canceling the track workout on account of the weather. I'd have to bring my kids and I thin they would be miserable. But feel free to workout without me.
We will still run on Saturday at 7 am. Meet at Classic Sports.
I also want to get a swim in, maybe friday or saturday afternoon. Any takers?
And if anyone wants to ride on Saturday, I am game. Just let me know.

we will have an open water swim on thursday. meet at 3 pm at classic sports and we will carpool to one of the lakes.

Hurricane Half Race Report
Race Report from Jessica M.
"I had a really good half marathon. This was my first half in 2 yrs! My best previous time was 2:07 so I was just hoping for something close to that or at least under 2:30. I finished in 1:57! I was pretty excited and have felt really good since. I was really glad it wasn't windy because last week it was really bad. I am happy with how I did and can't wait to train for the marathon!"

Hurricane Half-Marathon and 5K
How did everyone do at the half and 5K? Send in a race report for a prize.
As a club, we have been given some Trigenix product, courtesy of Over the Edge Sports. It is a nutritional supplement for athletes. Whoever sends me a race report to put on the blog will get some product. Just email it to me edansie@gmail.com and I will post it on the blog.
I had a great time. I finished the half in 1:45:06. My goal number 1 was to break 2 hours. My goal number 2 was 1:50 and my my most optimistic goal was 1:45, so I am very happy with my performance. The weather was perfect, thank goodness it wasn't windy. This was my first time running this half. The course was fun. I liked running the twist. It got me back on pace after I slowed a bit coming out of Virgin. All in all, a great race.
